Lacquered Loves

|| gifted || Releasing this Friday, July 31st at 2PM EST is the Totally 80's Collection. It consists of ten fun flakies and shimmery shades inspired by popular 80's movies! I was kindly sent five out of the ten shades to swatch & share with you guys today.  First up is Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner -- a light pink crelly with aurora shimmer & ultra holo glitter. Solely based on the theme, this is my favorite (and the only one I immediately knew the reference to). I'm a Dirty Dancing lover through and through. Formula-wise though, this one is the trickiest of the bunch. The pale base is a bit streaky. If you're more patient than I am with shades like this or if you have shorter nails, you may have more luck. Shown is four coats + top coat. Nine Zero Lacquer is an indie brand by the lovely Jessface90. As a fan of her's, it was only natural for me to eventually try her brand and, I must say, I'm impressed. With that being said, on to the swatches! First up we have, Tricks No Treats - my personal favorite from this collection! Hey guys! I'm so excited that October is finally here. Halloween is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays and this year I hope to get in as many Halloween inspired manicures as I possibly can! Of course I'll be sharing them all with you lovelies, and I hope to see some amazing nail art from all of you as well. To kick off the month, I chose to do KBShimmer Be Scareful from last year's Fall collection. If you want to find out more about this polish, keep on reading! Be Scareful is a white crelly base packed full of black and orange glitters. There are small hexes, larger hexes, circles, triangles, and even stars, which were harder to get onto the nail. You'd probably have to do some fishing if you really want them. This polish also glows in the dark, which was quite the surprise from me! I really had no idea until I went to bed last night.
