It's time to dust the cobwebs off the old blog! My last post was almost two years ago (and it wasn't even polish related!) but something was calling me back and urging me to resurrect this very neglected corner of the internet. Running a blog is rough, especially when you don't know what you're doing and when your skills don't really match up with your vision. But, I've decided to give it another shot because if you don't try, you don't learn, right? So, here we go!
I was very kindly sent over some polishes a few weeks ago from the Live Love Polish team and I'll be sharing those with you today. They range from thermal, to magnetic, to metallic, to flakie goodness. Keep reading to see more!
First up is Illimité Wisdom or Wit -- a tri thermal polish that transitions between pearlescent white when warm to sky blue to purple when cold. It also has holographic glitters and blue to green shifting shimmers. Wisdom or Wit is one of the five polishes from the Jane Austen Collection.
Next is Live Love Polish Cosmic Dust -- a magnetic multichrome polish that shifts between red, orange, green, and gold with rainbow flakies and scattered holographic glitters. Holy wow! I remember seeing Mia (@miasolx) swatch this one when it first released and was blown away by how amazing it looked on the nail. It's an instant galaxy mani without the hassle. Cosmic Dust is one of three polishes from the Galaxy Trio.
Next is Live Love Polish Serendipity -- an icy blue metallic foil with holographic glitter. This one is definitely a gem on the nail; the sparkles and holo glitter are dynamic and give a more lively look to a traditional metallic foil. They do stick to the skin if your application is a little messy, so beware! Serendipity is one of three polishes from the Midnight Trio.
And last but not least is Live Love Polish Amethyst Knight -- a dark purple jelly with rainbow flakies. In true jelly fashion, this polish looks like squishy candy. The purple base is so rich and all of the colors go so beautifully together. Amethyst Knight is one of three polishes from the Royal Trio.
